During the event participants will be divided into six groups in accordance to their application specifications. They will spend several hours everyday on a variety of activities related to their topics hence gaining new insight in the diversity of opinions and ideas thus creating understanding and tolerance through a friendly atmosphere. The nominal aim is to share ideas and cut across the different experiences of members thus the success of the group depends heavily on the participants' contributions.

The topics relevant to the theme include:

I. The Strength and Future of the United Nations

II. The Impacts of HIV and Malaria on World Development

III. The role of media towards global communication and development

IV. Does Africa lack Development oriented policies?

V. Unemployment: A Global Challenge

VI. Globalization and "Brain Drain" from LDCs
